Hoi An - The most beautiful town in Vietnam
Hoi An is situated 50 km south of Danag on the coast of the Tonkin Sea. The town
was a very busy and important port from the 17th to the early 19th century. Ships
from Holland, Portugal, China and Japan used this port. While you walk around in the
old town you will see many picturesque houses and enjoy a feeling of the old times, more so
then in other Vietnamese towns.
What to do: Walks in the old town during the day or night; the famous Japanese Bridge, the Assembly Hall of the Fujian-Chinese, cooking courses, bike rides, boat trips, a lovely landscape and of course a beach with fine white sand make this place a highly desirable destination.
