Temple of Literature and Tay Ho Pagoda at Westlake

The Temple of Literature is 1000 years old and Hanoi's first University. Some of the steles are dated from the 15th century . They contain the names of doctors. They are positioned on the back of turtles as a symbol of wisdom. Really interesting.

The Tay Ho Pagoda at West Lake is one of the most popular destinations in Hanoi. This is true in particluar on the first and 15th day of a moon-month. They honour the Muthergoddess Thánh Mau.
